The suburb of Endeavour Hills is 31 kilometres southeast of the Central Business District of Melbourne. It is under the local government area of the City of Casey and has a population of more or less than 24,500.
Endeavour Hills is bounded to the north by Churchill Park Drive and to the south by Eumemmerring Creek. The local citizens and council campaigned against it and fought hard to save the parkland. It’s accessible through James Alexander Reserve, named after the councilman who was influential in preserving the forest.
