Towbar Installer Essendon West

The suburb of Essendon West is 10 kilometres northwest of the Central Business District of Melbourne. It’s under the local government area of the City of Moonee Valley and has a population of more or less than 1,500.

Essendon West is bounded to the north by Rosehill Road and to the south by the Maribyrnong River. On the west, the suburb is bordered by Steele Creek and by Afton Street and Hoffmans Road to the east.

Found on the corner of Emerald Street and Hoffmans Road is the Neil Heinze Reserve. The reserve can be found directly across the street from the Keilor East Returned Servicemen’s League (RSL).  This is where you’ll find the Community Hall and a war monument that consists of a big plinth with dedications. The memorial commemorates men and women who’ve served their country in wars from World War I to the current day. At the memorial, a cross stands in honour of soldiers who fought in Vietnam. It serves as a memorial to those men and women who served their country in the Middle East. Locals who served their country in wartime, including Major General “Pompey” Elliott, are remembered on a series of placards.

The Neil Heinze Reserve Playground is located at the Neil Heinze Reserve. It looks like a succession of pools of woodchips cascading down the hill. A buggy with two steering wheels and a giant toothy grin can be found on the top level. You’ll also find a rocker with four seats (two of which are horse seats) and two springers that can be found on the lower level. On the next level are a big see-saw and a number of swings. The final level features a curved slide, hanging disks, horizontal bar, monkey bars, telescope, and a rigid frame bridge.

In your spare time, you can relax and enjoy at the nearby Prospect Street Reserve. It’s another great attraction for you, your family, and your kids. You can get together with some friends and have a picnic, sit on a bench, sunbathe, and admire the vegetation.
